The Newest Addition: Maggie
Just last Wednesday we adopted this little 11 week Beagle/Hound Mix from the SPCA Upstate New York. While I have not been around a puppy in almost two years I felt confident in raising this little one. One of the huge hurdles right now for me is making sure how to handle the biting stage again. My skin is not as tough as it once was and when you are not allowed to let your puppy out on neighborhood walks or play with other dogs that you do not know (like dog parks) it is difficult to exercise the little one.
Recently, went back to SPCA to have them double-check her dealing with her surgery to fix her we were able to speak to a behaviorist who helped me feel confident in how I was dealing with my ways of telling her not to bite my feet or body in general. (Plus, she gave new helpful insights to other methods.)
I will hope to keep updates on her as well our progress with her too. She is a sweet pup with a good personality but is wishing she had another dog to chew on.
EWTN News Nightly
There are just many occasions where I will lose the whole idea of watching any news program. Many of them so focus on not looking at another side, especially through a Catholic lens and even those who might it is very limited. (In my humble opinion.) Thankfully, EWTN has done something about that, with a new program that will soon be nightly. I watched the first airing and was instantly a fan.
I have always liked Colleen C. Campbell since I saw her during the Election of Pope Francis. Her style, but way of conveying the news was more balanced and straight-laced to the Catholic Doctrines and Traditions. I am not saying I dislike Raymond Arroyo in fact I like him too, it is just something about her that makes me sit there and want to watch. (I feel I am going to get a bunch of people say it is because she is woman, but I am telling you it is not that.)
Another show I have devoted a lot of my time with television. Any of you heard or know of her? I like her, I mean of course people are going to say something rude about her; either her sayings or maybe her methods. Yet it is something endearing with her that I feel I can relate to. (Kindred spirits if you well). With the purchase of her cookbook and then her website I think I have a ton of new recipes to work with and a woman who can crack me up.
Sometimes when I have the urge to looking through Pinterest I found some great jewels. One of those is this; I highly recommend for all women, especially mothers look at this list.
