Today is the feast day of St. Thomas Aquinas (yay Dominican Day) and since he is not just a Doctor of the Church, but of the Dominican Order, it is a feast and not a memorial for me.
Happy feast day!
::Around the House::
Cleaning the kitchen and finishing the laundry that I had started yesterday.
::Looking Ahead::
Tomorrow I will be attending an indoc briefing because I am newly made military wife. I am hoping that this will help me understand more of military life, but also maybe meet other spouses.
::Captured::

Your dinner sounds delicious. Reading your blog, you as a young newlywed, reminds me of all the things I wish I had done differently as a young wife. But any changes then, would have changed now…and I like now.
I think that has to be the way I feel about some of the decision I had made, but I like now. Thank you for reading my blog entries.
I deliberately stay put at times, too, so I can concentrate on cleaning the house
I remembered Saint Thomas Aquinas in a special way today. He is an excellent role model for students — dedicated, serious, and constant.
Yes, very true. I am a third Order Dominican actually so Dominican Feast Days are special for me.
Thank you for stopping by my blog, hope to see you around.
My first time here – I will be back! everything looks so wonderful and inspiring.
Thank you for your husband’s and your service.
Blessings
Karen
Karen,
Thank you very much, I do hope to see you.
Oh! I love letters in the mail,too..Kind of a lost treasure these days : )
Blessed feast day. +
Yes, it was one of those things that I like to keep. Also, when my godmother was discerning the vocation of religious she would write to me through “snail mail” as it is known.
Dinner sounds delish!
I am embarrassed to admit this…I have no idea about tumblr?
And your prayers are beautiful.
The tumblr is another type of blogging site, I use that site to promote blog entries, links to articles and the likes. Thank you for reading my blog.
Hi Nikita!!
My youngest daughter’s FAVORITE meal is chicken pesto pasta!
I think it’s wonderful that there is ‘orientation’ for new military wives. I grew up as a military brat, and I remember my mom telling me about how difficult it was to transition to the military life when she was a newlywed. They didn’t have support for wives back then!
I remember someone telling me that. I will be posting later tomorrow my reflections on the briefing we received.
