Why for some reason my washer is stopping mid-way through its run. I have not used it since the past Sunday.

::Wandering Around the Web::
At my home parish in Columbus, Ohio there is a young man who is a transitional Deacon (meaning that this coming May he will be ordained a Priest). I should also mention my home parish is run by the Dominican Friars of the St. Joseph Providence. What am I getting to? Well, the Vocation Director for the St. Joseph Providence has a blog devoted to the Vocations of Providence. And what I found was Br. Reginald’s vocation story. And I wanted to share.
Another Dominican Brother I have come to know through my home parish wrote an entry on the Dominicana Blog. If you have not read Dominicana before I highly recommend you do!
While I am unable to go to the March for Life because of reasons, I just do not have the money. Emily Stimpson, a wonderful author in my opinion writes on Catholic Vote on the Top Ten Reasons to March for Life.
Lastly, my home parish we have what I call a “Catholic Celebrity”, Patrick Madrid. If you have not read his books or heard him on the radio, I suggest you do. He and his family are wonderful people. Patrick Madrid posted a new entry on his website promoting his radio show. I find it great and funny.
::Liturgical Living::
Today is the Feast of St. Agnes.
::Around the House::
Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning. I have laundry to do too. Poor husband he might kill me with all the cleaning I want to do.
::Looking Ahead::
Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. I am not able to do much (as in going to Mass) but I am praying for all those who will go and hold stance that LIFE IS PRECIOUS. Lots of blog entries to write, reading, and cleaning. Endless cycle alright by me.
::Captured::
Nikita, Thank you for your beautiful prayer list.. All good reminders for me to keep close to my heart this week.
And I love a staying home day.
Blessings to you and +
Thank you very much.
Yes, life is precious because it comes from God alone. Thank you for the reminder about the anniversary of Roe vs Wade.
You are quite welcome.
Oh No! I hope the washing machine figures herself out! I too, am praying for those who are marching against R v W.
Yeah, that stupid washer finally was told to behave and of course like most things I lay down the law and they should start listening. (If not I threaten to use T-O-O-L-S)
Our local diocese has a March for Life every year. Hopefully it’s not too cold tonight to go. I would LOVE to go to the National March someday.
Isn’t it amazing how quickly laundry multiplies when the washer is broken, lol!
I have went to the March for Life in 2009, 2010, 2012. I was hoping to go this year, but with moving and getting married just could not plan it and pay for it too.
For the Washer, I figured out what was wrong…for some odd reason I had it for a extra-large load on a regular wash. All fix and everything put away.
